Putting together a totally fabulous work-from-home space can be a struggle when you don’t have the space (or budget!) to re-create something akin to Carrie Bradshaw’s West Village setup. If constantly slouching over your laptop that’s just a little bit too low has made neck and back pain the norm, one product from this week’s Aldi specials promises to do away with the struggle of adjusting your screen or even craning your neck to navigate your extra monitor (and potentially get your post-pandemic posture back on track, even if you’re a devotee of working-from-the-couch.)

Whether you take your Zoom calls from your desk or a more informal situation at your kitchen table, this cheap (and small) WFH Aldi product will level up your at-home setup while adding some extra storage.

For only $14.99, the Huntington Home Monitor Riser with Drawer at Aldi has a subtle quiet luxury vibe that’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Plus, the space-savvy piece takes up minimum space on whatever surface you place it on, making it perfect for square foot-challenged individuals.

Aldi’s white monitor riser measures 17x11x4.5 inches, making it an ideal size to lift your laptop or monitor to a more comfortable height. It also features a bamboo drawer, adding a decluttering storage component where you can hide excess notebooks, pens, chargers, and other knickknacks. Aldi’s website also says it can fit a small keyboard and mouse if you want to put those away when you aren’t using them. The drawer also has a small side compartment division inside, making it easy to separate your things.

In addition to making your workspace look more cute, it’s likely that this laptop stand is good quality. Many Aldi users revealed that they’re fans of the long-lasting monitor risers from the brand’s Huntington Home line, with one even saying she’d had her last one for three years.

In the Aldi Aisle of Shame Facebook group, Angela Sidorski revealed she’d picked up the new monitor riser and already liked it more than her other Aldi one, due to the more compact size and addition of the handy storage drawer. “I needed to retire my other Aldi monitor riser (lasted three years) and found this one today!” she wrote. “$15 with a drawer! This is your sign to get it.”

If you can’t find one at your Aldi store or you don’t live near a location, Target has a dupe monitor riser from its Brightroom line that is basically identical (although a little more expensive). For $25, you can save a trip to the store and get the white and bamboo monitor riser shipped directly to you.
