These radiolucent, non-metallic screws produce little-to-no artifact in diagnostic imaging such as computer tomography (CT) scans and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), which leads to safer delivery of adjuvant radiation therapy and improved monitoring and follow-up care. icotec has also been approved for a new indication for spinal infections and has leveraged Care Journeys to create its commercialisation strategy, inform decisions on head count and manufacturing, identify partner sites of care, and more as it prepares for launch.

Synchron Inc. is leveraging Care Journeys to identify and enrol patients in a pre-clinical trial for its brain-computer interface (BCI) that allows paralysed patients to control digital outputs, providing a breakthrough treatment for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) patients. With the next trial starting in 2025, Synchron faced challenges efficiently identifying the right ALS patients for trial participation.
