Dollar General shoppers are getting a big treat this summer thanks to our favorite country icon Dolly Parton. Now for a limited time only, the store is dropping a kitchen and houseware collection inspired by Parton’s rural upbringing in the Smoky Mountains, bringing her legacy and style right to your home.
Dollar General is selling approximately 50 new items both for the home as well as the kitchen. Everything is priced between $1 and $10, with a majority of the items priced at $5 or less. These items include pie dishes, butterfly measuring cups and jars, rolling pins, baskets, candles, picture frames, jugs for sweet tea, napkin holders, towels, placemats and tablecloths, hot pads, skillets, guitar-shaped spoon rests, and of course, mugs with famous Dolly Parton lyrics like “Cup of ambition” and “If you see someone without a smile, give ‘em yours.”
According to Dollar General’s website, this line of kitchen and home decor is “designed to add a touch of country elegance to your home,” and shoppers are loving it, expressing their excitement about this new collaboration over Dollar General’s announcement about this line. “Wow, I’m impressed,” writes one shopper. “I want every piece, let the hunting begin,” writes another.
“Our shared humble beginnings make this a special program for Dollar General. We are thrilled to bring this exclusive collection, curated by one of the most iconic stars in country music, to DG customers,” said Emily Taylor, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Dollar General in their recent press release.
You can find this entire collection at the 20,000 Dollar General locations across 48 states starting in mid-July, and you can even peruse the collection over on the Dollar General website or on the app now. But hurry! Dollar General is only selling this collection for a limited time while supplies last.
