IKEA’s Brogrund Towel Holder is on Closeout Sale

Case in point: The popular IKEA BROGRUND towel holder, which reviewers call a storage superhero for small spaces, due to its modern design and expandable rods. If you’re looking for a versatile holder for towels, clothes, rags, bags, or what have you, the IKEA towel holder is on sale right now for under $20, and there’s urgency — it’s your last chance to buy it.

Usually available for $23.99, IKEA marked its BROGRUND Towel Holder down to $19.99 as part of a closeout sale on the design. 

The simple organizer features three bars made out of stainless steel, which expand depending on how much length you need. When you don’t need it, you can close the bars and fold it against the wall, making it ideal if you don’t have a lot of room. 

While the IKEA listing shows the product being used in a bathroom, many people who purchased it said they used it for other spaces — like in the garage to hang wet beach towels — and even in a camper van to put up a curtain. It’s also a great option for the kitchen if you need multiple places to hang kitchen rags and oven mitts, the closet to display bags and scarves, and the laundry if you want to hang clothes you don’t dry in the dryer. 

Plus, even though it’s small, the “good value” organizer is “heavy-duty” and “sturdy,” many commenters said. One customer joked that it’s “overbuilt like Mercedes-Benz … I’ll will it to my favorite niece,” they quipped. 

IKEA’s website says the discount is valid until Aug. 31 or while supplies last, so don’t wait on scooping one up if you’re in the market for a compact storage solution.

If the BROGRUND Towel Holder goes out of stock before you’re able to get one, Amazon has a dupe that’s similar for about the same price. For $19, Amazon’s NearMoon Swivel Towel Rack has four bars instead of the IKEA organizer’s three, as well as an extra hook and different color finishes. However, the swivel arms don’t extend, so that’s something to consider if expandable storage is important to you.
