Blush Pink Paint Color Drenching
If you’ve seen my tips for making a small room look bigger before, you know that I’m a big fan of color drenching. It’s a decorating technique of painting an entire room the same color: walls, trim, doors, and ceiling.
It tricks the eye to make you believe a space is bigger because there are no breaks in the line of sight.
Even though color drenching is trending right now, it’s a technique that has been around for quite a long time.
I chose the color Behr Postmodern Mauve – a subtle peach blush shade that can lean pink or beige, depending on the lighting. It is slightly desaturated to give it a beautifully aged quality.
I recommend using a satin sheen in humid rooms like bathrooms because it’s less likely to trap mold than eggshell or flat sheens.
